Cultivators - rakes

Different types of rakes

A garden rake with short teeth is used for preparing the soil for sowing. In addition, it can be used to rake or cover the seed or to collect waste.

A lawn rake, 58 or 71cm wide, is mainly used to rake cutted grass or leaves together. For works on larrge surfaces (preparing the ground for the construction of a lawn or for raking grass seed), rakes in aluminum or metal are more suitable.

A cultivator, usually with three teeth, is especially useful to lightly rake the soil and make it airy.
